Nalin J. Mehta, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Nalin J. Mehta was raised in New York. He graduated with honors from Union College in Albany, New York, and received an M.D. from Albany Medical College after attending a competitive combined 6-year BS-MD program. Following his internship in Internal Medicine, he served a three-year residency in Ophthalmology at the Albany Medical Center. A two-year fellowship at Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans, Louisiana (one of the nations most progressive ophthalmology programs) provided further training in retinal and vitreous surgery.

The author of numerous scientific publications and presentations, Dr. Mehta is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He also is active in a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialists, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Colorado Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Mehta is on staff at Provenant St. Anthony Hospitals Central as well as other metro area Centura, Exempla and HealthONE hospitals, including: Porter; Exempla Lutheran and St. Joseph; Swedish; PS/L; North Suburban Medical Center.

Dr. Mehta’s community involvement includes serving as Chairman of the Colorado Commission for Individuals who are Blind or Visually Impaired (CCVBI). He also performs with The Colorado Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
