Indocyanine Green (ICG) Angiography

ICG angiography is a similar technique to fluorescein angiography, except a different, green dye is utilized in conjunction with a near-infrared flash or laser light source; this allows for visualization of the choroidal circulation, the vessel layer deep to the retina, which allows for improved diagnosis of diseases such as wet macular degeneration. The Colorado Retina Center also offers ultra-widefield ICG angiography.
